Jamie Archer aka Jamie Afro has said he found his experience on the X-Factor "depressing" and "demoralising".
Speaking after he was voted of the show yesterday, Jamie said: "It was really demoralising for me, because it made me feel like 'Is it me? Am I being difficult? No-one knows what to do with me - maybe there just aren't any songs?' but I just got on with it really."
He denied reports that he had planned to walk of the show but admitted his relationship with Simon Cowell, his mentor on the show, occasionally came to boiling point.
"I didn't say I was leaving, I just said 'Maybe it's the wrong show for me'. It was after we did Unchained Melody and we tried it, and I had to change my song last minute.
"I said at this point 'Maybe this show isn't really the right show for me because we keep having to change my song, which means we quite clearly don't know what to do with me'."

Jamie struck by X-Factor throat bug.
Jamie Archer has reportedly lost his voice after being struck down by virus. The 34-year-old has lost his voice and is battling to be fit for Saturday’s live show.
Jamie has been advised to save his voice and not to speak until then. Lloyd Daniels, Olly Murs and twins John and Edward have all been struck down by the bug.
It would be a bit of disaster if all five are forced to pull out, the might need to rename the show the Lemsip-Factor of something similar.

Jamie Afro is a "Ladies Man"
May be like Samson in the bible his prowess is all in the hair, and seems the hair is what does it for the ladies.
The big-haired rocker, dubbed Jamie Afro, was snapped cosying up to two different ladies outside the X Factor studios.

Jamie Archer Heads to LA as Simon decides
It was the final stage in the selection process for the X-Factor finalists. Simon Cowell is the mentor for the over-25 group and he has flown Jamie Archer and five other contestant to his opulent home in LA.
On hand to greet them was Sinitta who seemed to be doing some sort of biblical impression and had come dressed as Eve or what else can you have made of her palm fonds
Well as distracting as it might have been, Jamie kept his eye on the job and realising as the Dermot O'Leary continues to remind us that this is a life changing opportunity for the 'fro.
Simon felt it was a heart felt version of Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out and that was enough to ensure Jamie was on his way back to London as one of the twelve finalists.

Afro-mania heads to the X-Factor Boot Camp.
Afro-mania is not done, having "given a 100%" at the auditions. The Afro man Jamie Archer was back at boot camp and armed with another modern day rock anthem.
This time a rendition of U2's - With Or Without You did the trick. Not a great performance but a safe one and it was enough to assure Jamie of a trip to the next round the Judges Houses.

The day the 'Afro' came to town.
Not since the Jackson's has an Afro been of so much interest to so many people.
If nothing else Jamie "Afro" Archer wins the hair stakes with ease and he is not such a shabby singer either as his auditions for the X-Factor shows. At the London audtions he gives a really enthusiastic rendition of Kings of Leon - Sex On Fire and storms through to boot camp

Jamie Afro given a 'short, back and sides'
It looks the X-Factor bosses are messing with Jamie's Afro, an almost unspeakable crime.
X Factor finalist Jamie "Afro" Archer has revealed that he was unsure about the efforts of programme stylists to give him a makeover.
The 34-year-old, who is known for his trademark hairstyle, was reportedly "shocked" when show bosses revealed that they wanted to trim his hair.
One of Jamie's friends told the Daily Mirror that the stylists have taken "a few inches" off his locks. The pal said: "Jamie is very proud of his hair.
"It really is his trademark and sets him apart from anyone else on the show. "They've taken off a good few inches."
A show insider confirmed that the stylists had just given the singer a small "tidy-up" and insisted that he still has his "big hair".

Is Jamie Archer in love.....
...with Coco Lloyd from Kandy Rain?
It looks like the X-Factor may have it first romantic match of the competition as it is reported that Jamie "Afro" Archer has fallen head over heels for fellow contestant Coco Lloyd.
However the budding romance has now been complicated by the Kandy Girls being the first performers to be kicked off the show on Sunday. We will just have to wait and see if Coco keeps vigil for Jamie Archer.
Coco Lloyd
Coco Lloyd and her banmates all worked at Secrets Gentleman's Club as lap dancers before re-inventing themselves as a pop music girl band.
